Product Description |
| The USA Pans Small Jellyroll Pan is constructed of aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. Jellyroll pans are a standard for many bakers. The large baking surface and raised walls are ideal for baking everything from drop cookies to sheet cakes. A jellyroll pan is a fantastic all-purpose pan. The metal thickness of this pan has been selected to allow for even heat distribution and maximum service life. An important and unique feature of this pan is its corrugated design. Corrugation maximizes the pans strength and prevents warping, denting and other effects of everyday use. Plus, it also minimizes surface contact which translates into evenly baked products that are easily released. No need for messy and unhealthy oil and grease. This pan is coated with Americoat. Americoat is a proprietary silicone coating. It provides a clear, non-stick, environmentally friendly, non-toxic baking surface, specially formulated for superior baking. It's FDA approved; it does not contain PTFE's or PFOA's. It is not recommended to exceed baking temperature of 400 degrees F. Easy care. To clean, simply wipe clean after use; soap and water are okay to use. It is not recommended that pan be washed in dishwasher because harsh chemicals can cause the non-stick material to breakdown in time. Dry pan completely, after cleaning. USA Pans is the newest line of bakeware developed by American Pan, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial bakeware. Pans are made of 65% recycled steel. Made in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. Large Jellyroll Pan measures 10 X 15" with inch high sides. Lifetime warranty. |

It's Amazing--nothing sticks to it!

I just tried one of these pans based on a friend's recommendation and it is truly amazing. I was a bit thrown off by the ridged bottom, but the pan is so non-stick that I just don't care. I was worried it would leave ridges, but I haven't had any issues. I made cookies (baked evenly) and be careful when you take out the pan as they all slid to one corner as I was removing the pan from the oven...really non-stick!! I also made a free form meat loaf on the pan (I just really wanted to use it again) and it worked so well! Nothing stuck and it cooked wonderfully! This pan is super heavy duty--the weight in the hand is impressive as is the heft of the rolled rim. Two details that really impressed me: no teflon (it says the non-stick is silicon) and it is made in the USA. I have given these pans as gifts to my real estate agent (she called me and asked where she could get more) and at a wedding shower.

...than a heavy-duty baking pan with a lifetime warranty that's made right here in the good old USA? I love that this pan doesn't have that horrible teflon type non-stick coating that scratches if you even so much as look at it wrong. My old jelly roll pan was coated in that stuff, and it was worthless. I have used this pan several times for making pumpkin rolls (the reason I bought it) and also once for cookies. I agree with the other reviewer, no ridges on the bottoms of my cookies either. I made sugar cookies, and while they stuck to my other cookie sheets when they came out of the oven, they slid right off this one! Cleans up nice, and I usually dry it right away so it stays nice. I do this with all my cookie sheets, whether they really need it or not. This pan is heavy and the perfect size for my pumpkin rolls and a small batch of cookies. Totally worth the extra money I paid for it because unlike the cheap pans you might find in the grocery stores, this one won't have to be replaced in 2-3 years.
Excellent bake ware from an American company.
*Update*
I bought this pan to use exclusively for my pumpkin rolls, but find myself reaching for it all the time. Nothing sticks to it! Nothing stains it! After dozens of uses it looks absolutely brand new. Great product. |
